Re: Bdydrptk5, start of a happy ending

So im getting screwed by my painter. His name is Jeremy, he works at aaron's auto and performance in fort worth,tx. As long as he works there i will never recommend that shop! BEWARE OF THIS GUY, he will tell you all the right things, and even has references. But i have yet to see any thing he has actually finished, including my blazer. Im out thousands on the so called "bodywork" that Jeremy did, which isnt near finished, I called in another painter just to get the firewall and dash done so i can atleast get the motor set in it, and possibly get it back to a "movable" state...... to be continued.

This isnt a finished product, we have to block everything again, after being assured by Jeremy it was ready to spray, we found endless pin holes and scratch marks....

man what is it with painters! i just don't get it... a jobs a job! they are all the same bro. i'm going through the same deal with mine. i'm starting to think its the paint fumes get them all jacked up and they lose interest and lose focus on reality. sorry to hear man. hope the backup plan works out for you.

Good luck with your painter situation. That is exactly why I started doing all my own. Of course I don't do any show quality jobs but decent driveable paint jobs anyway.

Re: Bdydrptk5, start of a happy ending

Well I called in a friend to paint. We got enough done to make the blazer mobile. Now I get to take it home in pieces and hopefully I find some one that can finish it.

Oh and I put the motor and trans in by myself last night. I'll post pics later
