oh no Ochre as great! I hated that color for a while, but it grows on you. Now it is one of my fav colors.

Here is a pic from about a year ago of my Longhorn.

By the way, I think Ochre is one of the best colors on these trucks.

I picked this up today. Its a 1970 GMC c25. The paint looks to be the original and the only real rust that I can see is on the passenger side rocker. This is my first 67-72 and I am pretty happy with the condition of it. Now to find some 8 lug steel wheels. I want to do a mild lowering of it. It is a custom camper with 350 motor and turbo 400. Any suggestions?

Nice thread guys! Here's my 72 Longhorn. Not "original", but still a 133" wheel base.

Here's my 71 Cheyenne 3/4 ton 127" (before and after) that I got for $50 bucks! Didn't look like much when I got it but the guy drove it to my house and it was still inspected. Sold to me as a parts truck but I didn't have the heart to kill it so I restored it!

I spent many years and lots of dough to get it to where it is now. Still have to do the paint and repairs inside of box but for now, it's just fine by me.

I drive this about every other day and it runs & drives great. Will be making the 85 mile trek to Carlisle, Pa swap meet soon with this one. It loves the big highways.
