Do you have any details on the engine and transmission? How's the clearance between the brake booster and the valve cover? Did the steering shaft have to be altered at all?

The clearance between the booster and valve is just fine... (the pic below is about the best shot I have of it even though its not the best)

The steering shaft appears to be all stock to best of my knowledge.

As far as engine details here is what I have without digging thru the receipts & info folder I got...Anything specific you are looking for?
As far as internals I'd have to look thru that folder.

AWESOME!!!! I'm gonna start my frame off on my '69 in a couple of months & I'm thinkin about goin with base/clear. Has your paint been cut & buffed? Also, what color & brand did you paint your booster & m/c with? Man, you have a BEAUTIFUL truck!!

Yes the truck has been cut & buffed after paint.

The brake booster has not been painted that is the color & finish it came but the master cylinder I painted with Dupli-Color Cast Coat Iron Engine Paint.
I have used it in the past with good results.... but I really havent had brake fluid make direct contact with the paint to see its reaction.

A few more motor questions. Did you say what transmission you are using? Also, did you use the factory big block motor mounts?

Thanks again.

It's a Turbo 400.

The motor mounts appear to be an aftermarket mount. I havent been able to locate what kind they are. I will try to take a picture soon & see if anyone recognizes them.

How do you like the TH400? That's the route I'm considering too. I want an OD but, realistically, this won't be a highway vehicle so I don't know how much of a difference it will make.

Since I just got it, I dont have a lot of miles on it other than about the 2 hour drive home and a few around town but it seems to be ok. (and didnt do too bad on gas either)

But overdrive is always nice.

What a gorgeous ride. I had a black 72 Cheyenne longbed for a minute a few years back. Paint wasn't nearly that nice, though! I don't know if you've ordered the carpet kit yet, but have you thought about black carpet, to break up the red a little? Can't go wrong either way; it's beautiful inside and out.

This truck is hot! It'll be a challenge to upgrade cuz it's so nice already. Though now that you've mentioned that, I've got an upgrade...LSX454 backed by a 4L80e. Just stirrin' the pot. :D

Thanks...I sold the 32 & bought this one.

This one will stick around for a while unless I get the right offer.

Thanks for all the great pics - you have an awesome truck. Nice 'resto-mod' you took all the best stuff from a stock '72 and put some really nice custom touches in there.
