Just to be clear Jeff is talking about the three horizontal ribs on the inside of the cab just under the rear glass. Not the vertical ribs on the outside of the cab that also show up on the lower inside .

Re: 73-74 show off

since I switched to buckets, I covered my entire back section in carpet so those ribs are hidden. I had to find an old pic to see the difference.

If your VIN still rivited to the cab with the rose bud rivits?

I am realcurious now, as my 73 was before I tore it down, and mine does not have them...but my 75 does.

Maybe it depended on what factory built the cab?

I changed the vin tag on my 78 when I swapped cabs and I guarantee you would not be able to tell it has been swapped.

I was thinking my '74 had them as well. I just thought you had shaved the ones in your '73, Jeff.

Here's my 1973 Chevy C20 Custom Deluxe pick up! It originally came with a 350 4v w/ manual tranny and 14 bolt rearend but some where down the line somebody put a 1976 454 4v w/ T400 tranny! Excellent swamp, the 454 w/ T400 and 14 bolt rearend are a great combo! Is the baby blue & white a factory color combo?
