Re: Let's see them Duallys.
My beater......thought about putting nice paint on 'er and fix a few things, but really, she's a good ol' truck to just beat on, so what's the point? I have other stuff I'd rather fix up....haha....
This thing takes enough of my $$$ just for fuel...... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v3...m/IMG_2177.jpg |

Re: Let's see them Duallys.
Here's mine... It's a '91 GMC 3+3 Crew Cab R3500 with 454, 4L80E and BIG Dana rear end with 4.56 gearing.. The most shocking aspect is the truck is from Southeastern Wisconsin and I'm probably only the third owner with it having 47,7XX miles on it (original). Truck has no rust on it, very few cosmetic issues.. I had to change the u-joints and the rearend gears as the original ones were shot. I installed the stainless wheel covers for now until I find some cheap Alcoa's. Truck never did any heavy work--first owner had a 5th wheel hitch fitted as evidenced by the holes in the bed. No receiver hitch has ever been mounted to the frame. Truck doesn't leak a drop. Fitted also with the HD suspension all around (rides like a brick). Great truck--may be looking to find a suburban or a single-wheel crew cab down the road..
The best thing about this truck is that it has the body of a western truck--too bad GM used crap paint during the 90's.. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20062 Truck was missing its original tailgate when I bought it. Found a Chevy one that had been in storage for about 20 years just outside of Jefferson, Wisconsin. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20063 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20064 Love the 89-91 GMC front ends--and even better that the truck is equipped with all the later drivetrain as found in the rounded bodies.. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20065 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20066 http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/p...ictureid=20067 |
