yep its a sheet of 3/4 plywood I had around for a future project, just had to cut a lilttle off one end.

Some progress, this weekend my plans were to swap over the cab and engine. Well I got pretty far but needed a little help here and there and didn't have any, so things didn't get finished. Heres a few pics of the tear down.

The cab swap was a success, the pics are my homemade cab removal tool, cost nothing just used some 2x4's I had lying around and several heavy items to balance the cab weight.

I will post some pics of the cabs new home later, had a bit of a time lining up the 4 mount bolts, but managed to get er done.......

Yea I was looking at that myself. I took the hard way around the un-blanced cab while I was lifting it. A third strap in the front. Never thought of that sand bag trick. Sometimes a person needs to get out of the box.

The welded in front cab bolts was the real bonus in this swap. Going to warm up some tomorrow, I can get back after it.....
