finished up my sound system! i installed two 4" speakers (1.83" deep) up front where the original 4x10 was. The speakers are mounted to a cutting board that is stenciled to the original speaker. (the mounting points are a little bulked up) I made sure to get a 1/4 inch board so that it wouldn't buzz.

I'm very happy with the sound quality of the system especially for all of the speakers being in the middle and for how much I paid for all of it.

Whenever we meet on the road they honk to me and they even honk goin by the house when they see Russ parked out front... I really want to honk back however my truck is hornless so i picked up some semi horns from harbor freight:devil:

On another note what do you guys think of this?

I'm thinking build something similar and use a two barrel then later down the line ad all the fuel injection parts as opposed to a buying an suck through carb and bolt on a supercharger off a pontiac bonniville. I found a guy local on craigslist who sells rebuilt ones for 200 bucks

The siamesed intake runners don't work well with port fuel without port dividers, tends to run rich then lean particularly on the middle two since their intake strokes are so close. Bunch of learnings on this over at inliners. But mighty cool.
Turbo works better than the blowers. Actually easier to set up, and can do blow thru carb or TBI pretty easy.

Do you think that lump ports would help to keep things more uniform if i did remove the dividers?
