I have a soft spot for original paint and NOS parts. After spending years messing with old Jeeps, it's obvious that OG paint vehicles and NOS parts are getting more and more difficult to find. Assuming these trucks are similar, in that most have lived a hard life - which makes finding a low mile original paint even more rewarding.

Really enjoying reading through this forum and will hopefully find a nice clean pick-up soon. Gonna try to exercise patience to find the 'right' one.

Um, what kinda Jeeps? Your username looks familiar. :D

Hey, fancy seeing you here! :metal:

Yep, old CJ's have been my vice for many years.

It is a hard one to shake off after catching the bug, but heck I'm preaching to the choir.

Thanks, it's a pretty darn nice truck. I currently own everything listed in my signature. I always remove ones I have sold.

Just a few updated pics. I detailed the paint and had the wheels powder coated. Much better pics than I had before.

Interesting SPID
Possibly a special order ....chrome rear step bumper ...but no dual tanks

The YH6 package may account for some of the options

Check under the seat ...you may find an original build sheet ..and the original dealer info

It was a marketing package like the Bonanza; It may have been called the Sequoia...I found an old post that lists some options similar to yours ...except for the two tone reference. It may have even included the chrome rear step bumper.

YH6 was an option package code that swept in a lot of options like the others listed on your RPO sheet.

*ZY4 deluxe two tone paint (not color specific, with contrasting color on the roof and lower bodyside)
*TT5 halogen high beam headlamps
*U35 electric clock
*A01 tinted glass
*ZQ2 Operating convenience package (i.e. power windows/locks)
*UN3 AM/FM stereo radio (w/an upgrade allowed)
*K34 electronic speed control
*N33 tilt steering wheel
*CD4 intermittent windshield wipers

That is the twin to my previous 87 V20. Same color inside and out, same wheels and running boards that I had to remove.

That is an awesome truck. Thanks for sharing. I should have never sold it....

I think everytime your post I'm envious, couple of questions tho, What did you use for detailer on the the paint? And I would bet everyone else is with me on this one, Could we get a whole fleet pic of collection? maybe you have one already I just think it would be cool to see them all lined up together. Thanks

I just used a buffing wheel and this wax I have used for years. It's made for clear coat, but polishes up old factory paint very nice. It's called BC-2,

I wish I had a pic of all my trucks together, but I don't

NICE...I just picked up a one owner 1985 K20 with 78,000 miles. No rust super straight truck. Bought in Nashville TN and lived in a subdivision all its life. Problem is it is for my wife to come to the field in and she is having a hard time getting in and out with her knee problems. Are the running boards you took off for sale?
