No picture updates as I haven't figured out hosting now , but after all the issues with the yellow truck I finished the season out in this truck . I charged during the last 4 races at Baytown NHRA from 28th to 8th . !st through 8th gets invited to run a separate race at divisionals called the race of champions . I also am currently 2nd in points At Evadale IHRA . I signed up for points at pinevalley , but was not given credit for my first races so I'm like 43 rd .

So with the hurricane and work , I have been busy . Decided to take the truck to Lufkin and race Pinevalley raceway this weekend . I have learned a lot Footbrake racing the second half of the season. A lot of variables with footbrake racing . Staging RPM and depth mean a lot . Getting the rpm the same is tough and ET and reaction time are directly related to bump in or staging depth. You bump it in deep and cut a killer light it will be slow . You set it in shallow and are late it will be faster. Basically teaching me to hold 5 numbers . Yesterday I set up aggressive for first time trial with 50 in the fronts and 13 in the rears @ 2100 rpm . It runs 7.28 @91 mph . I was .004 red . Second time trial I take some out and cant get the rpm right . @2300 it pushes through the brakes and I'm way deep . -.019 red and it goes 7.31 @90. I get up for first round and cut the tree down with an .018 I get down to the end and bump the brakes twice and give it back .001 at the strip . It was on a 7.29 by split times and wouldn't have broke out if it had to . I buy back and go back up . As I stage the truck , I put the pre stage on and get up on the RPM and look back at the tree and the stage light is on . Crap I don't know where I'm at . I set it in one more bump and by the time I finish that the second bulb is on on the tree . I'm late . I drive down there and I'm 7.2855 on a 7.28 dial for the loss . .128 to my opponents .023 . Still trying to learn this footbrake deal and have had better outings than this one , but getting better.
