Re: ATHS National Show '15
Great pictures Tim.
Those two Macks at 544 & 545 are chain driven. Wish I had a chance to see them run. I'm also digging the IH sightliner, your feet deserve to see too. |
Re: ATHS National Show '15
Thanks for the great pics Tim.

Those two Macks are massive. Keep checking back. I'm just getting started. The last number is 853 and we're at 575 after this set

578 is a crazy custom Emoryville with way more than meets the eye. Wm Mason Hauling will haul anything and build what it takes to do it. His whole fleet is modified International in the same livery. My neighbor drove for him before he died and Jerry would haul what no other drivers for Bill would haul. |

If you want to know how many pictures I have the answer to this question will tell you. When GM bumped the displacement of the 396 in 1970, what was the new displacement. I just figured it out. My numbers start with 9451 and end with 9853. Only 267 to go. Almost there  Iowa 80 Truck Stop museum brought some trucks |

You have to post at least 3 digits, so I'm putting the picture numbers to help me keep track |

I have always liked this guy's fleet. He's running Alcoas now but I always liked the trucks when they had the orange wheels to go with the undercarriage. Everybody has Alcoas, but classic tradition says painted wheels and frame https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...94455598,d.b2w |

Re: ATHS National Show '15
Boy, do I remember those Phone Trucks (#582 & 583).
More nice heavy Fords to appreciate as well. And of course, love the B-Models. Bill |
Re: ATHS National Show '15
Yeah, I always wanted one of those phone company bodies. I like how there were three styles of Big Jobs and a Super Duty all together. So many different shapes and sizes of trucks it's hard to absorb

Re: ATHS National Show '15
Tim,
I've been reading up on different boards. Many say there were so many trucks there that they didn't get to see them all. How did you do? |

I walking the whole show over several times in the three days and I am sure I didn't see them all. The last day I helped park trucks and I saw them come in, but the semi rigs were sent another direction and the some of the holes left by trucks leaving were filled with shorter stuff. They had to start parking spectators off site t a couple lost they had pre-arranged...just in case. We were down to the nitty gritty packing trucks on the final lot when they stopped rolling in around noon. That lot had been intended to be left open for load/unload. I was at the end of the line packing them in. There was no leaving till it broke up the way I had some packed in. No one cared, just happy to be there
