Re: OldGMJon's "BLACK30" ....

Very cool looking project. Almost like Deja Vue. I am doing a 68 dually in that forum "Meet Homer" that started life with 157" wheelbase from the factory then Open Road added 18" more to a total of 175".
I also added upgraded 79 front and rear axle/crossmemeber. I opted to shorten mine to 115" wheelbase and widened a stepside bed to cover the dual wheels.
I am really digging the progress you guys are making in a short amount of time. Looks like top notch work. Your customer should be happy he has guys that are wanting to "do the right thing" working on his truck.
Keep up the good work. :metal:

That is why John & Rich of American Customs and Classics got the nod to finish my truck...way above my abilities to finish. Glad you like it...the C30's have always been my favs, can't beat those duel wheels for traction and stability on the road either. :smoke:

This past Friday was "FlattyFriday" ....

We started by lifting the flatbed up, and breakingout the old hot wrench and removing the pieced together rear frame/hitch/bumper attachment points.
