Sounds really smooth. Like a sewing machine. Very nice.

So with that last statement, I'm hesitant, but I'm following along...

My wish has always been to have a 70-72 2wd Blazer and this truck may be one in a succession (few or many) of trucks to achieve that goal. I'm going to keep tinkering/improving this one until someone needs it more than I do and then I'll move forward from there.

Re: Brought this home last night...

AHHH, I'm following your logic now.

BTW, 2wd Blazers are over-rated.

You picking up what I'm puttin' down?!

I'll tell you what, how about we let me be the judge? At the end of CtC we'll swap your Blazer and my Silverado for a month so I can complete the research and at the end I'll present my findings over some mud bugs in LA... ;)

It may not be that drastic, but if you are at CTC, we'll work something out. You are always welcome to come over and talk about anything over some mud bugs!

I have planed to do that and then don't want to let it go....wife helps remind me though.

What are mud bugs? Crawdads?

I know what you mean, I have had a few diversions so I'm trying to stay focused of things that help the cause. My wife is helping too. ;)

Mud bugs are Crawfish (crawdads to some) and a crawfish boil is a wonderful thing!

Yep! Mud Bugs, Crawdads, Crawfish, it's all the same thing.

Took it for a couple laps around the block today here's a video.

We used to be able to put the actual video in the post but I can't figure it out, just click the link if you like to see the video.

Thanks bro I fixed it. It's a cool truck, will make someone a nice cruiser of a great base for a build.

Took the Rx out for a ride the other night, I think it's crazy how much I enjoy riding in this old truck with a I6 and powerglide for motorvation. Could use an altitude adjustment... ;)

Gauges that work! Truck is 50 years old and been sitting up for 10 or 15 years but they still work!
