That tru trac stuff is porn and the FI intake looks awesome with the 60's valve covers. This is another build to inspire us mere mortals....

The coils are under the valve covers? Id be nterested to see how he got it to mount up. That is sweet.

I'd say you are correct judging from the pics! Not a lot of room for coil packs under those covers.

Re: Larry

Wow I love the old SBC valve covers on there. Looks amazing and right at home with the intake.

Not coil covers, although those are available. Looks like he used LS center bolt to old SBC perimeter bolt VC adapter plates. As mentioned, remote coil pack mounting.

Very nice! Keeping the LS intake and TB? Would look great with a 4 barrel intake, rails, and 4bbl throttle body.

What brand headers are you using? I like the way they fit against the block.

Re: Larry

Happy to see some of the progress. Is is dificult to locate the front DM on the 4wd frame? I'd like to make the leap from my truck to a Blazer someday and from what I can see the 4wd are much less $$. I'd like to use the touring DM with coil-over . I'm just curious if it is more difficult or the same as a 2wd.
