alright what do you think black or sunburst orange on the wheels
these the other rear tires i have for it (besides the et streets) i painted the little bowtie in the middle of the center cap sunburst orange i also changed the exhaust tips because i cant fabricate worth a $hit and the old ones didnt match |
Re: my 64
Cool! Looking good keep up the good work! :metal:
|
Re: my 64
I say go orange on the wheels if you are going to run trim rings, and keep them black if not...
Looking good! |
Re: my 64
I would say orange wheels with the center cap just like you have it, and trim rings. Orange without trim rings might look good too.....just not sure on that.

Re: my 64
Yeah, put in some fenderwells as you dont want a rock chip in the back window.;)

Re: my 64
Arent electic fuel pumps pushers? If so,that one looks a little high to receive fuel to push on to the front.I guess its working since your driving it,might have problems when the cell is closer to empty. I could also be mistaken,in which case,,,,carry on.

Re: my 64
it just has to be close enough to the tank for it to pick up if it is too far away then it will have trouble
i got some bad gas from wal mart so im getting my neighbor to pick me up some race gas |

Re: my 64
Scored a nice steering wheel! I dont get how someone can have a nice wooden wheel like that and then paint it black!
|
Re: my 64

my neighbor took it off and put some $h!tty looking original style steering wheel on his car that he payed an arm and a leg for. i think im going to sell my grant signature series |

i got it primered tonight
here are some pics |
Re: my 64
FYI, I am not sure what color you are going to paint it but I put brake caliper paint on the inside of my backing plate and I had to scrape the paint from the shoe contact points, wow even with a razor blade that was tough going! So maybe for something that gets alot of "abuse" like a steering wheel that might just be the right paint. my 2 cents anyways.

Re: my 64
im going with the same color as the truck
base coat, clear coat |
