There is a lot of nice trucks here. Makes me want to convert my Longhorn into a 4x4.

Yes, its called a "cake feeder". Cake is ground up feed ( alfalfa, corn, sunflower byproduct, cotton seed byproduct, etc) that is compressed into 3 to 5 inch 7/8 cubes. I feed about 10,000 lbs of it a week. I drive the yellow truck alot!

Here's my truck, got it with 81,000 origional miles back about 1992 from my stepdad. I was lucky enough to be able to drive the thing a bit during H.S. and after. Running boards will go when i do the rocker replacement...

Thinking about it, my emblems say C-20 or Custom-20, still don't know what the difference is, but i'm not too concerned ether LOL!.

That is just plain beautiful... makes me wish I would have gone with that color instead of my OEM medium olive.

^^ I have no idea ^^

It's a big boy done right. Looks like it has late model drivetrain. I spy a Dana 14-bolt. Probably has a Dana60. My '72 will get this treatment, but with HO52/No Spin and 12.50/37 Swampers on 8.25 steelies w/caps. Who knows what color. Not red, most likely medium Gold Metallic. You never know until you order the paint.

I have 6" springs. I am hoping with the tires being 12.50s on 8.25" wheels and not doing any radical wheelin' that will work. If they rub I'll see about zero-rates up front which I hope will do the trick. Another route may be a trip to my favorite spring shop and see what they can do. Honestly,I don't want it any higher than the 6" and hope that'll do.

I too really enjoy the 3/4 ton 4x4s. Don't have one right now, but would love to find a long stepside. Here are a few I've owned in the past... I'll start with the nicer ones. I've seen the copper and white GMC on here in the past, somebody saved the picture from my Ebay auction when I sold it. The orange project truck had a Cummins, NV5600, NP205, Dana 60/70 - I never finished it, and parted it out.

And one last post... this red '72 was my favorite. I got it from the original owner, it had 69k original miles on it. The original seat was perfect, and that's original paint with a few minor touch-ups. Auto trans, factory A/C, cab lights. It had the fat 16.5s on it when I bought it, and a couple pictures show it with the 8-lug "rally" wheels from my daily-driver Dodge (I'm a tall 'n skinny kind of guy... err... when it comes to tires anyways - I probably don't qualify as skinny ). The guy I sold this truck to currently has it for sale on Craigslist and also tried on Ebay a month or so back.

The green '71 was yet another project I never did anything with.

You've had some nice trucks. What's it like not having one after all those? It must be hard when you see one drive by. I remember your Cummins project and hoped to see it done.

Here's a good ole boy:

Wasn't it in VT? I know VT Blazer showed it here when the guy stopped by his place. It was sold and outfitted originally in Europe, right?
