Re: Project '64 C-10 Truck - built in Germany
Your truck build is looking great...Keep it up. I know it is harder having to wait on parts from over here to be shipped to Germany. Thanks for sharing your build with us!

Re: Project '64 C-10 Truck - built in Germany
Here's what I found:
http://paintref.com/cgi-bin/colorcod...page=2&rows=50 It didn't specify Truck, and I believe the truck colors were under the Chevrolet category. You color looks like Desert Beige. The best thing about that chart is that it has the paint codes for many different paint manufacturers. That will be a big help when it's time to have the color mixed at the paint shop. Hope this helps! By the way, the truck is looking great! |

Little progress...we installed the bed and installed the front bumper. Started to clean the hood.. you can see nicely the difference between before and finished side.

Re: Project '64 C-10 Truck - built in Germany
Next steps is getting the bed fully aligned and also prepare all the parts to get these clear coated. Also working to install fuel, brake and air lines ... getting the AccuAir installed.
Also we currently work on the cab to get all new floors installed and high hump transmission tunnel, ... painting the inside freshly and shaving the firewall and also getting this painted in the original outside color. |

Re: Project '64 C-10 Truck - built in Germany
fabian, truck is turning out nicely, will be better then new and with that ls motor you should be able to keep up with the other cars on the autobahn no problem!! i heard from my uncle telling me while he was over there that you dont get in the left lane if you can see headlights, because the car will be right behind you in no time!! my aunt monica still lives there, good luck and keep us posted on the progress!!
