Here's my '65... Bought it 10 years ago .What a P.O.S. when I got it. I'm in the middle of changing the motor and a few cosmetic things. I'll post new pictures when done.

Custom Camper/327/4spd/2wd. Bought it 12 years ago from a guy that found it under blackberries, cleaned it up & got it running, then put it on an empty lot for sale. When I got it, I put in a new fuel pump & new exhaust, got used bias ply tires (split rims still) and used it as a dd for 2 years with pretty shaky "two-pump" brakes. Sold our house, had the brakes completely redone, moved 250 miles to the mountains and it's been my firewood/dump run truck since. Prolly haven't put 2000 miles on it in the last 10 years but I use it often (short runs). Bed floor is shot (plywood), has a hole in the floor along the drivers side rocker, driver side exhaust mani is cracked & needs replaced, need to rebuild the carb. Other than that, it's solid and it's a WORKHORSE woods truck!

Here's my truck the black and white pic is when I got it home, and then I got the gmc grill. The engine is a 283 bored 0.60 with tbi with a 700r4, it has ps,pb> It has a 91 sub steering column, and a front crossmember, and gas tank moved to back.

Here's my "66". It's my daily(and only) driver! And it's also like an oil painting...the farther away you get, the prettier it looks! But I'm proud enough to keep buying parts for it!

This is project "baby". I purchased this truck a few years back as a retirement gift for my dad and I to restore unfortunatly My dad past away march 4th from cancer and this truck was his pride and joy. He enjoyed going to jefferson and skip's swap meets trying to find parts. I am going to return it to its former glory and repaint it omaha orange with a white roof. I hope I make him proud.:)

Here is my '65. I bought it from my brother and my family is sharing it as a work truck. As you can see my father is currently filling the back with junk from a bathroom remodel. It doesn't look like much but its got it where it counts.

High compression 350 with aftermarket heads.
Edelbrock Performer cam, intake and carb. Rams Horns and flowmaster exhaust.
200-4R transmission with B&M shifter. (He kept blowing up Muncie 4-speeds)
Power steering, relocated fuel tank. It has a suburban tank now.
My plans are to fix the rust, add disc brakes and paint it the same color. I don't want it to be to nice because I think trucks should be used.

Questions:
Is that a factory rear bumper?
What options can you spot on this truck? The only one I know of is the full-instruments.

And yes that black stuff is indeed oil. It is coming from the front corner of the valve cover, where the PO decided to snap off a bolt head... :crazy:

Ahh yes.... all that surface rust... BUT it has a new MIRROR!!!!! :metal:

And that big horrible ugly friggin canopy, is covering up my lovely tailgate, and the lack of wood in my bed! :crazy: :lol:

Dont think so. It has all the original equipment still on the truck (minus the bed wood). It has defroster, fan speed, and temperature selectors though.

BIGBLUE is a 1966 Chevy K20 with an Omaha Standard flatbed, 292 six and a granny low SM465 four speed with factory divorced transfer case and running gear.

The personalized license plate on my 1964 Chevy C10 long wheel base fleetside is GR8WYTE. I sold this to my good friend who drives it on sales calls for his cabinet business. He gets a lot of attention in this rig.

OLEBLUE is a 1965 Chevy C10 lwb fleetside with a factory 283 V8, 2 speed Powerglide transmission and original running gear and factory original wood still in the bed.

This is one of my favorite photos. I drove around my neighborhood several times in my '66 Chevy C20 towing my '66 Chevy C10 swb fleet with a big back window.
