I really like both styles (stock, rat rod) but I think the rat rod thing is getting played out. I really like the idea of a clean, stock paint and wheel combo. Especially slammed on air. Ultimate family/friends cruiser

Not a 4-5-6, but a GMC Burb, none-the-less and a factory 4x4.

Well, it's not a picture of my panel but rather an "action shot"

Check out the video a buddy took while I tested the line lock and finished off my old 275/50-15 BFG's.

By the way, this was done at the end off a street that has no homes across the the way = nothing to hit in the event of a worst case scenario. And no, I did not consume any alcohol before OR after the event.

Here is one that i wanted to buy last year , saw this burb at the goodguy´s show in Pleasanton CA !

11k$ for a very straight burb with no rust , has a inline 6 , automatic , in the front 18"´s and in the back 20"´s !

but the Guy didn´t get the Paperwork done so he say that he can´t sell the Burb outside the USA!

^^^^^^That last burban actually belongs to a friend of a friend of mine. A guy named Bret it's 1966 burb and has 18's up front and 22's in the back! He's also has a 62 impala 4 door and a 55 belair with the same wheels on both of those too. He got that burban for $1500.00 from a tow yard. From what I heard it just needed a new fuel filter and fresh gas and it fired right up! Later!

Yes this is very nice I just noticed that the rear hatch and tail gate are shaved. What does your dad have to actuate the latches on these? The same as the front doors?

I've been a member for a while, but I'm not very good with computers, so this is actually my first time posting, but that's my suburban, and both doors and the tailgate are on remote. The new weatherstripping acts like a spring and pops the doors and the tailgate open enough to pull on when you hit the remote.

Thanks for the reply.

I'm curious though, once you unlatch the hatch and raise it, do you just activate the solenoid again to release the tailgate? Sorry for the questions, but I'm just trying to understand how you made this work.

Heres the 63 I had and then sold this past fall. I screwed up. It was real clean, and had a great drivetrain. It was like driving my wifes 99 suburban.

I agree with you both:metal::metal::metal:.......I saved pics of this truck a long time ago and roughly styled my 'burb after it. I like to call it the 'Bondo Diamond'

Here's my 64, with factory A/C, PB, & PS. I put a 700r4 behind a 355 w/Vortec heads(worked), Performer RPM intake w/Edelbrock 750, ceramic coted headers, 10.2 cr. I also put modern seats & carpeting inside, but kept the outside totally stock, if you don't count base/clear as an upgrade.
