OK, your there looking at it.

Just FYI - the worst a flash will do is "wash out" the subject in an image, it' won't add something that's not there. I'm not trying to be a d*ck, really, although the cylinders don't look "bad" I wouldn't put new parts in there the way they are, definitly not without having it vatted.
If you build a "clean" motor, you will have a lot less headache, more drive time than down time.
If it's worth your time, it's worth doing right.....right?

I agree with you, but this engine really only had like 500 miles on it
ITS CLEAN !!!

So I dont have a problem putting it back together with a good crank
And the crank thats going in doesnt even need over sized bearings, so like I said, its all good

Besides, I dont have the money for the bearings let alone everything else

Ima put new bearing & seals in, but the other stuff is staying as is

Well, I haven't made any progress :(

I have been really busy with other things lately, I had to build a new tongue for my moms horse trailer, build a trailer out of a old pickup for scrap, & I've been helping my dad with his truck

Plus I havent even got the parts for my engine ordered :rolleyes:

I did find a rear bumper that I may put on it, but I havent decided yet

WOW !!!! I just finished assembling the rest of my motor !! Now to mock up the newer style brackets and pulleys !! No I didn't get the serp. set up just a few years newer so I don't have to run that jacked up alt bracket off my headers !! Anyway any progress you make is still progress !! Keep after it !! Just time to move on for me, I do this occasionally
I started out with round bodys, then went to square bodys, then to 67's

My taste just changes & I want older stuff
Ima fix my 77 & drive it, but my next project is my 50 Ford F-1, then after that maybe the Camaro, or maybe one of my 46 Stude pickups

I wont be making any progress on it for a while, as I am out of town working :(

Hey, I just noticed that I never updated this thread any further

It didnt get worked on anymore after the last progress post :rolleyes:
