Honestly it was orange straight from the can, I don't remember if anything else was added, maybe a little black to darken it a bit and give it some body. My dad and I painted the truck in one weekend, 10 years ago, at the shop he works at. It was 6 coats of paint, 2 coats of paint /clear mix and 4 coats of primer, thats about a I know.
I've been toying with the idea of painting the new truck this colour with white as a two tone.

Dalaigh that stepside is eye candy. Looks like Hugger orange. Love orange and those cragars are timeless. Perfect combo.:metal:

That truck is awesome, love the stance, and looks great with cragars.

Thanks guys, That picture was actually taken after I sold it by one of the last owners. I found it online, when it was for sale, and saved the pic. When I had it it had the factory rallyes painted black, the owner after me put on the cragers. That paint looked like it was miles deep in the sun, I loved the way it came out. That the one truck I regret selling. I know where it is and have been thinking about offering to buy it back, but what I really want is a 73-80 stepper. So, when the 84 K10 is done and on the road, I'm going to start looking for one.

Nope. Stock width frame, ladder bars, and a 9inch I believe came out of a Lincoln mark series. Not sure on the back space but they are 15x15 rears.

I will post more pics smoke_dog. Right now the truck is all apart. I am replacing floors and rockers. I went to redo the interior and when I pulled up the floor mats to put in carpet I found some rust.

FNG from Michigan here. This is mine, the day I brought it home (about 2 weeks ago):

https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net...90200487_n.jpg

It's already under the knife. Interior is completely gutted down to the sheet metal. Removed the manual brakes and unbolted the steering column in anticipation of the power steering box and power brake conversion arriving today. I've got seats from an '06 trailblazer going in, and I scored a smoking deal on the kick panels, door panels and dash from an 87 silverado.

Also removed is the clutch pedal assembly, as I have a 700r4 sitting in the bed waiting for installation now.

Anybody running a fuel cell on their step side with the wooden floor? Any clearance issues?

Thanks. I know on the fleetsides there is clearance issues with the cross braces and the sending unit, but those aren't on the stepsides so I'm hoping it'll be good.

You are running a fuel cell between the bed rails in the rear correct? Are you still using the stock fuel fill location?
