Man, that home-made cowl looks nice. Real nice. It gives me an idea to do to my '92 extra cab. But it's gonna have to be when the snow's gone, it's nice and warm outside, and I have the time to do it. Lol.

Well lucky for me my truck is sitting in the driveway. Well, one's in the driveway, one's outback. But this snow is causing issues; I need to do a bumper swap and I can't. I got in a wreck with my '92 extra cab and the rear bumper is toast, so I'm gonna take the bumper off of my '88 4X4 and put it on my '92, and the rear bumper off of a '93 Dodge Ram my dad had is gonna go on my '88, if we can do enough modifications to make it fit. But, can't do squat in this snow.

I get to sit here and stare at a warped and destroyed rear bumper. Lol. It kinda sucks.

Lookin good man. Hey what tires are you running on your stepside? I'm looking for a set of meaty tires to run on my '88 when my Goodyear Tracker Radial 265/75 16s go bald....after I put them back on the truck lol. Haven't put them on my new wheels yet.

They look good. When I can get some money I might look into it, but I haven't run my Trackers bald yet, and they're not even on the truck. I put 2000 Silverado wheels on my '88, and the Firestone tires that were on the wheels are still on it...except the front 2 are now flat lol. God I hate Firestone. I took my Goodyears off of the 4X4 wheels, and put low-profile tires on the 4x4 Chevy wheels and put them on my '86 Nissan lol. But once I Run those trackers bald I'm gonna look into some newer tires.

did you change that idler pulley on the tensioner to a 6 rib? looks like it.

Also that's weird because I got the exact same bracket setup but my tensioner faces the other side, and I changed mine to 6 rib. makes me think mines wrong or something.

Re: 1988 chevy resto project

after looking again it's a smooth pulley you got on it that's not gonna work right. For non a/c it's ribbed and looks like for a 6 rib and the rest of yours is 4 rib.

Mine had a/c on it before I changed it over to 6 rib non a/c
