Truck is actually a 1960 but I like the 1961 grill insert and directional pods. Factory short bed, custom option, big back window, factory automatic great driver

Couple of Goldie she is getting closer to being done. One trip up the road to fill the gas tank. Still need to finish up odds and ends, exhaust, bed wood, bumpers, etc,etc.....

Finally got my truck out of the "body shop" aka my garage. My wife backed into the driver's door, and I ended up giving it a third life (when it probably should have been scrapped after the 2nd).

Good enough for now - one day I'll re-skin both doors! I also did some wet sanding and buffing - I got the truck with this paint, but there was quite a bit of orange peel and specks of rust in the paint. Pic of the roof attached - as you can see it's slowly getting it's own patina here and there. It's far from perfect, but it'll do!

A couple more... My 7 year old stepdaughter wouldn't let me leave the show without doing a burnout (sorry for the poor quality, it was taken from a youtube video)!

JBA Show Cool - I went to an all Ferd JBA show in my 56 Chevy big window once. I was voted (by the participants) Best in Show. :)

Very cool! JBA is pretty close, so I try and make it out there as much as possible, it's a great mix of cars.
