I put some 98-02 e-bay stainless f-body headers on a square body with 1" setback plates and had no prob on the driver side.

Do you have any pics?

My mounts are pretty close to stock bc I kept my trans in the same spot so I can re-use my current driveshaft.

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

Hmmm, just wondering if they make the same layout just with smaller primaries... Id like to keep them in the 1 5/8-1 3/4" range.

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

I'm askin if the dynotech headers (70-81 camaro) fit on a c10????....and if so do they hang below the frame???

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

I got my 5.3 dropped in to mock up motor mounts and check header figment. Had to pull my stands just forward of the v8 holes and the headers literally slid right in.

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

mooseknuckles,

I think they hang below if you running a stock crossmember. I've got a PB crossmember and also raised the trans crossmember and I clear well.

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

well...I got a stock crossmember, but I'm also "Z" 3".....so I guess I'm going to find out if they fit soon enough....

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

I have a stock crosmember so yes the hang down identical to 68gmccustom's pics.

Make sure you got metric header bolts. Mine came with sae. I called dynatech and they promptly sent new hardware.

Thanx for p/n---U still think with dropmember these will clear bottom of frame?? They look great .................jim

mooseknuckles 03-01-2012 06:29 PM

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

I dont have a dropmember....lol...but I hope they clear my "Z'd" frame!

softballnrd27 03-01-2012 09:58 PM

Re: Dynatech MuscleMaxx Headers

Wow!! what did you do to your frame, you don't have any clearance issues at all.

They look like they will work better than the f-body ones I tried. I believe it was the #1 or #3 primary that kinda went forward and straight down and hit the a-arm. It wasn't going to work at all w/o modding the headers.
