I've been sanding and painting. EVerything so far has primer on it. There's a few pieces that I painted black already. HArd part was if I should go 2 tone or all black. I'll take a few picks in a bit it's time for.some coffee

GM blue is nice. i had a visit from Shawno72. he came by to check the progress out. well

Nate,
i was checking out the old spot of the flat perch for the bed and i belive the old hole placement was in the center of the two holes. i ran a measurement 261/2 from that. It looks pretty close.

i might need to check another truck to make sure.

Nate,
so i measured the two old ribbit holes and found a center. from there i measured back to the cnotch 26 1/2. would that work. and im hoping another dropmember owner can help with this

I will just have to confirm the mesurements tomorrow.... the centerline placement is critical, and since you no longer have the mounts that we use to reference the notch centerline... I would rather you be safe than sorry. :)

Hey Nate, any word on a hood hinge strut kit? I really don't like using a prop on that heavy hood.

We are working on one... it won't integrate into the hinge set-up like the 67-72 version because of the weight of the hood, but we should have it ready to sell around the first of March if not sooner.
