To be honest im not 100% sure. There 15" off of a 454 ss. I checked out the Chevy website and it said they were 8.5, but im not for sure. I dig the black ones, I'll trade lol. I need to put my center caps on, it looks ten times better with them on, but I have to buy all new lugs for the cap covers to screw on, and the caps are about 2.50 a piece.

This is my shop truck and dirt bike hauler.

Mechanicaly solid but the body is rusted out.
5.5/8 drop
215/70R15 fronts and 235/75R15 rears
Cut the front springs
Flip kit in the rear, removed overload and 2 other leafs and added air shocks.
Rides like a cadillac. The front is a little soft with the half ton springs. 3/4 ton springs would be better. Im going to eventually install some drop spindles, c-notch and bags, but Im in no hurry.

2/4 drop (springs and shackles) w/ 275/60/15 all around. I think I need to put OG springs back on and get 3" spindles.

currently a work in progress. not on 15s but its still static dropped. figure its about 4 to 5 in the front and a flip kit with shackle in the rear with some springs pulled out only because thats what i did in highschool and thought it was cool lol . sad . now i need to buy new springs or go coil over with 4 link. im torn. bed is currently off.

My clear coat peeling peach! Current build project. It has 2.5 spindles and 1 coil cut, and rear flip. 15x8 up front and 15x10 in the rear. Installing a 5.3/4L80E with 76mm turbo and retaining the A/C. Going to wait until all of the weight is back on the front end before deciding whether or not more cutting of the front spring will be required.

Re: static dropped square bodies with 15s

1979 Big 10 Dropped on stocks, awaiting 20" Detroit steel.
The drop in case others want to know....
Western chassis 2.5" spindles and 2" coils
Belltech rear flip kit, didn't use c notch yet
Belltech drop shocks 4" and 6"

Got 4.5" out of the front, and I think 6.25" from rear. There is about 2" between the rear axel and frame still. And truck is leveled at 26.5" to the center of each fender well. Stock 15x8 with 255/75-15 truck turns but rubs at full lock. I would not recommend 15" with drop spindles as I had to cut the balance weight off the back of the rims because new spindle steering rod mount is about 1/8" from touching the inner rim lip.
