Re: Parting this 66

Jimmy,

Opened the carb package tonight and every thing is great, the linkage is perfect, just what I needed.

May be interested in emergency brake parts that you have, if they are same for C and K trucks.

thanks,
Les

PG Signs,
I'm looking for a crank shaft for a 250 inline six. Got one?

PGSigns 09-29-2015 08:14 AM

Re: Parting this 66

I have the complete 250 in the truck. If you were closer I would give you the motor. All you have to do is pull it.

Do you still have the rear axle? Would you ship it? 53534

Re: Parting this 66

I have it but think the freight would be more than the cost of the rear. Should be something a lot closer.

What about the wheels? :D

PGSigns 10-13-2015 08:15 PM

Re: Parting this 66

I need to hit them with the pressure washer and check them. They look good as far as the inner section and bead. No rust at all. Just want to make sure the entire wheel looks good before I sell them.

I don't mean to be rude, but I did ask about the wheels in post #13, and was waiting to hear back after he checked them out.

No worries. Shipping will likely be a deal breaker for me anyway, but I'd like to know for sure.

Don't worry about it. Shipping will probably be more than I want to spend anyway but I'd like to know for sure.

Jimmy,

What size are the wheels? 15s or 16s? Did not see size noted above. If 16s interested if others pass. I can have them picked up at your place.

I am not interested if they are 16's. Guess I should have asked that also, just assumed.

Re: Parting this 66

Going to clean them up Saturday morning and post them. They are 15's. Those who asked about them get first shot in the order they asked.

Need the top cover for the main body of outer heater

PGSigns 10-16-2015 10:33 AM

Re: Parting this 66

I have one. Do you just need the metal cover or everything from the main body up?
I have both pieces for a deluxe heater or the thrift heater.

Need everything from the main body up, Not sure which heater I have but I believe it is a deluxe model. Can you post pics? Thanks

PGSigns 10-17-2015 09:24 AM

Re: Parting this 66

Easy way to tell what top section you need is to see if there is a cable attached to a lever right at the fire wall. It opens and closes a flap for the air from the cowl panel.
I'll work on pics.

As promised here are the wheels. I washed off the dirt with nothing but water to inspect them and they look pretty good. The inside and bead surfaces are really nice and a good bit of the original paint is still on them. I think they would clean up more with a little soap. All the lug nut seats look good. They are 15X51/2. Asking $200 for the set of 5 plus what ever it takes to get them to you.

That's a nice set. I'm afraid shipping to me is going to be as much as the wheels, and I don't need them that badly. Have at them, I'm out.
