Just finished putting some parts together. Greased up the wheel bearings and put them on the hub then cleaned and painted the dust shield and bolted on to the painted spindle and slid the rotor and hub on. Now to move on to the control arms.

And I also got my package in today from summit, bushing and boots for everything from moog and energy suspension

Today was a difficult filthy battle in the rain but I made good progress. I removed one of the upper control arms and with a torch and air chisel and multiple hours I finally got the bushings, sleeves and shafts removed from the control arm.

I remember doing that with my 66 last year....not fun at all. haha But when it came to painting and putting it back together it was well worth it:chevy:.

Then I cleaned it all up and got some gloss black rust paint on it

Got these 61-63 gmc hubcaps from my neighbor as a gift. After I stripped the multiple coats of paint off I found that they are actually in really good shape. I don't mind running gmc hubcaps on a Chevy, at least they're not f*rd:lol:
