Yes. I can't wait until I get to use the shiny parts that have been boxed up for way to long.

Got the door panels primed last night. There were a few dents that had to be fixed and a couple pin holes that needed to be repaired. Hoping to get some more done tonight.

And here are the pictures of the door panels with the paint applied. I will try to post better pictures in a few days. Now on to painting the rest of the interior. Hoping my vent window weatherstrip show up this week so I can get those put back together as well.

Cool! Are you painting or having it done by someone?

A long time time friend of mine is painting it for me. He has been a painter for about twenty five years. We were trying to get the interior sprayed to how Dad but couldn't get it done in time.

Hope everything is going good with you.

We had a pretty slow afternoon at work yesterday so I installed the glass back into the frames. Looks like today will be more of the same. Hoping to get the weatherstrips installed so I can finish the vent windows.

A little more progress today. The vent windows are starting to take shape again. Now all that's left is to finish installing the rivets.

And one completed vent window assembly. The passenger side will have to wait until Monday. If I done these for a living there is no doubt I would starve but still cheaper than giving $500 for a set of new ones.

Saturday I went and picked up a few interior pieces after being painted. I'm still trying to decide to paint the recessed area of the door panel or leave it all the same color. I think all the pieces turned out really good.

And a few other interior parts. I still have to paint the white letters on the ashtray. But all in all the interior is starting to come together.

Friday it was a little slow at work so I had a chance to assemble the passenger side vent window. Here is a couple pictures of both completed. Also my lever and knob kit came in from Fred's Truck Parts. Like a little boy I had to see how they fit. We are hoping to get the rest of the interior sprayed the week of Christmas.
