Responsible side says you have to "man up" and help out on the mortgage. Gearhead side says steering column!!!! You can live in the storage unit for a few days!!! You have only been at Britt's a couple of weeks, ask if she minds pro-rating your first payment and get the column also. She may work with you on that, Britt is cool and that sounds fair.

Fuel door looks great. Are you going to shave the rest of the marker lights of mess around with putting it into the fuel door?

No you do not have to use it...... it is a good idea from a safety standpoint........ trucks with manual trans do not have them.....

This sounds right to me. fyi though...you'll need a wiring adapter for the plug

notice that plug in the link is a long straight rectangle. Ours are half moon shaped...there is an adapter (about $15) that connects the two...

oh..!!!! i now what you're talking about...lol i like to solder...so if i can find the ends i will strip and install new terminals to the wires and use the factory connector...that how i did every other one...ya its a pain in the ass, but it looks 10 times better when its a factory connector... what about the nss connector? do i need to find a 4 speed nss?

VA72C10 01-20-2012 02:18 AM

Re: My 68 swb build.

not sure on the nss w/ 4spd...maybe someone else will chime in...

Re: My 68 swb build.

Or you could do like I plan on doing and cutting both end off and putting Deutsch connectors on. Be better and more reliable than the factory one and personally I think they look way cooler.
