Once done with her 72 C20 the 67 short bed 4x4 project will begin. Tempting to move all the 72 stuff on to it. I'll put tires and some little things and drive for a while. Mike

Anyone in the Eugene area know this seller?

http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/5558554314.html

I've sent a couple of emails w/o a response and there's no phone number. I wonder if my emails are going to his spam. Maybe he prefers to only deal locally.

72 C20 Cheyenne Super Custom Camper white/blue deluxe 2-tone $3900. States original motor, but it's been mildly hot rodded it appears. A/C stuff missing, but was originally an a/c cab. Still, not a bad project start - if you don't mind replacing rockers and stuff like that - would be nice restored. Kind of surprised it doesn't have an aux tank... one might find one's self worrying about long distances between gas stations. http://skagit.craigslist.org/cto/5584609062.html

From the looks of that step bumper (being tilted downwards) maybe it already has!

I have to say, if I had the garage space I would have bought that thing already.

Interesting color combo for a highlander! I would expect the plaid to be grey not orange, what a interesting combo!

I don't have a hyperlink to this one, the seller deleted the original ad, and told me he's posting it up again soon (I'll post it when it's up). I looked at this truck personally (wasn't able to get inside at the time) but from the exterior it's a VERY nice original truck. ZERO rust that I can see, even surface rust. I drove to look at it with the understanding that it was "original paint" which turned out to be incorrect. So I'm passing on it. But it's a super solid truck for someone. The re-paint is peeling in a few spots. There is some light surface rust starting on the vent window frames and the mirrors. The dash pad looks nice. Steering wheel pretty nice but a crack or two. The bed has supposedly had the camper and carpet it's whole life. From the once spot I could see through the camper I believe it! I could only find one very tiny ding in the passenger bedside near the rear bumper. Looks like 147k miles on the cluster. Reportedly runs/functions great.

Located in Manteca, CA. He was asking a lower price but got tons of calls so he's now wanting $7k. But who knows... 209-815-1428 ask for Vince and tell him Tim sent you!
