actually from i've been told its that i got the wrong mount brackets , Justin is shipping me the correct ones today ,

all good Bryce , God has blassed me by giving me the ability to have more than one toy , that way it keeps my mind off it when something goes wrong , since i had all that spare time left on the day , i spent some time with my other baby and did a brake job on it . gave it a bath and been that its a beatiful afternoon !!!! lets go for a ride !!!!

I figured you should just throw those turbo's on, then once the block swells up the bolt should slide right in!

one day i will have a zo6. absolutely love those things. and then ill take my truck out and run circles around it. because every body knows its cooler in a truck

Truck is looking great man, the new stance was worth all the headaches I bet. And I think we need some more pics of the Corvette, or you could just let me borrow it. That might be easier so you don't have to go through the trouble of uploading pics:mm:

All caught up on your Stepper. Just a little rake, looks great. Looking forward to your finish, awesome truck. Thanks for working out the component geometry for us step truckers, very trying I bet but oh so worth the headache to be one of the first on the road.

thanks !!! im using an undercoating spray which leaves a thin semigloss layer with a sandy texture , easy to use and looks great imo !!!

my boy turned 17 on friday , i want to share with you guys my latest joy in life , a few pages ago i mentioned that he wanted a genesis coupe , well after a few months he realized he wanted to go another route !!! thank goodness !!! , i took my family on vacation and when we got back and drove up i had a big surprise waiting for him !! a few months ago i picked up this one owner south florida car , its a 2002 camaro ss with slp package ,
i did a few mods , new leather seats with suade inserts , staggered wheels , eibach lowering springs and a few other small things , here it's my boy and his ss

Awesome. So glad he ain't behind the wheel of an import. Looks like a great car. He should be pretty damn proud of that. You should be proud of em both!

Thanks ,chevy all the way , I know it's a lot of car for a teen but I trust him 100% and he kept his side of the deal and kept Straight a's in school !!! Very proud !!!

so a couple of days ago i got the correct mounting brackets for the engine from scott's , i finally got around to it today , half an hour or so and a little bid of muscleing and i got it in , the holley oil pan cleared perfect over the rack and pinion and it also sits an inch or two higher than then the front member , the intake also clears perfect , i'm glad to be able to move on to the next chapter , some pix

small updates , got valve covers and galley cover painted and installed , also started the pulley system , i need to drill and tap for one of the alternator bracket , i had to buy a new ls1 waterpump as the truck one sticks out an inch or so ferder and it wont work with this kit , the compressor idler pulley has interfearence with rack and pinion and the compressor wont work at this time as it wont clear do to the engine brackets, i have a couple of ideas on how to make it work ill keep posting as i go,i love the way this kit sits almost flush with the motor and how low everithing is , like i said before ill make it work , :lol::lol:

That does all sit nice and low--looks good! How's the alternator fit? Are you using knock sensors in the valley? I think with that intake it would look cleaner to mount them on the block.

Looks great Raul, the suspension turned out just right. I just love the intake manifold, that is a sexy beast! Your boys new camaro is pretty hot too! lucky boy to have a dad like you. Great job!

thanks !!! alt fits perfect , its the compressor the one thats on the way , i may not use knock sensors ,

Raull,

Truck is looking great man and I really like the look of the edelbrock intake. I had a feeling you might have problems with the A/C compressor. At least it is on its own belt so, theoretically, you can place it almost anywhere in that general area and build brackets if needed.

Don't know if this will help but it will get the comp up out of the frame.
