Will do Jim. I cheated ...took the tire and the truck to dealership to fix. Glass guy is here replacing windshield. Prioritizing my time to be able to do some burb work. Will get back on it!
Sid, looking forward to seeing how your headers fit. I will throw these Camaro manifolds on to see how they look. Iceburgh, Did you have to trim the frame just a bit? Also, did you get your electronics on your LS worked out? Back to the shop for me.... |

2010 Camaro manifold on the left side needs this much angle to almost clear the frame.

And with the angle, the manifold hits the block. So, I'm going to go with some headers and use these manifolds on a different project.

I'm curious if my Camaro manifolds will work with the PB set up. I remember one of the changes they made that delayed things was a change to allow a more flexibility on header selection. Fingers crossed that I can use the stock manifolds. I wont know for quite a bit.

Well that worked pretty slick. Any progress is good progress. My Sundays are usually really good days for me to spend in the garage. Only problem was I was very FESTIVE at a holiday party last night and just felt like holding down the couch today......

Another way to get a bolt out is to place a bigger nut on the head and weld up the center. Lookin good!!

And C6 manifolds won't work. They are pretty tight on the left side and hit the frame on the right side.

Don't know how the C6 compare to the Camaro manifolds but the flange is higher and closer to the block with the Hookers. Got anymore pics of the flange area on both sides?

Hey Doug here is the set of headers I used on John's Dodge truck.
They are from Speedway #9300114 $200.00 comes with O2 bung, gaskets and the flanges witch you can turn in several positions. Pic #2. installed on johns. (By using Hugger Headers You will have to move motor mounts forward!) Mark... |

I found these on Ebay and since Im a huge fan of stainless and have bought ebay headers bf, they are worth every chineese cent. I was skeptical on trying them cause I have nothing moched up yet, then I stumbled upon a guys build on here, but he hasn't responded back to my question (I don't think he gets on here much) or maybe I missed it and I can't recall his build thread. But... I did poach a pic from his thread when I saw it. Cause I recognized the headers. For me I think this is the route I'll try and take, so I'd need to order them, then do engine mounts and try and find a happy medium.

I think your engine is a little lower between the frame rails than mine but here's a few of mine with the Hookers on. Hard to see through pictures but the right side down pipe is about an inch from the frame rail. You can see the flange is a two bolt and is higher than the Camaro manifolds.Gives you something to think about.
