Pic 1 and 2. This car belongs to Eric Wise. I've seen this car on other LS sites.
So we talked and he is also on the 71-72 site as ls1nova71. He came down from Kansas City to run in the autocross. He won the event with a 33 second pass in the 48 and older group. He and I were in the same class with a total of 7 rides, I can in next to last. Eric's car runs an LS engine, MII front end, Ford 9" rear, may not look it but is a nice ride. Pic 3 This is my autocross sticker, had to run the course a few times before you got a sticker |

Pic 3 is the post 49 winner. A 69 Camaro purpose build autocross, was a super nice car, and the sound of this engine and exhaust was great. After getting home I saw I had rolled over to 24,000 miles |

Re: My 50 roadster pickup build
I'm trying to get more on the autocross event. Jimbo took video and sent me an E mail, I download it, but it would not load up. Will work on that tomorrow.

Hey Troops,
Today a few of us retired guys an gals got together again for our 2nd Annual West Vue Nursing car display. It was really hot and humid today, temps in mid 90's and heat index in the 100's. But alot of the residents were outside in the shade enjoying fun, music and old cars. Here are a few pics, enjoy...Jim Pic 1 thru 3 of residents and family enjoying the cook out. Pic 4 My wife Aggie, the love of my life for over 50 years. Pic 5 more residents. |
