Its ready to fire actually.. just doing a ton of blocking and body work lately. The GMC and house projects take up a lot of time too.
Will you please pm the code for the paint we discussed a while back? Im going to look a little closer at it. Posted via Mobile Device |

thanks but far from done with it , i am building a small aluminum plate that will mount from the back of it to hold the gauges , then i will build a trim face panel on the front of it that will wrap around gauges and follow the factory line of the bezzel , wish me luck !!!! |
Re: 1971 c10 stepside
Digging the speaker mounts and the gauges. Looking forward to you finishing the cluster too. Something I have been avoiding.

step two of gauges is done , i used a pvc 1/4 inch panel for gauges intesd of aluminum , its lighter , cheaper and easier to work with , my son and i went on line and looked at hundreds of pix of gauges set ups , i cut out some small gauge templates and laid them out and came up with quite some layouts but it came down to one that my son wanted which its all that matters to me , it's different so i hope it looks good when done , next step is to make the actual face panel to go over gauges and factory panel
