I was down that way a couple of weekends back to see Mike. I called your cell phone a couple of times... seems like it picked up but i didnt get a response... so i headed back home, I wanted to swing by and see the truck... maybe in fhe near future ....

Heath...you need any measurements or anything else for that ebrake cover??...Just thinking....have you checked the factory assembly manual??

What is that trim piece from? It looks like it will be in the way of the ashtray.

Geoff, I had it mocked up from the pics you supplied, but i didnt want to drill any holes until i install the cluster to make sure it clears the bottom.

Who needs a stinking ashtray!.... J/K... it clears the ashtray. I bought that piece from a board vendor as the PO hacked the hell out of that area....

I really like that! First one I have seen, what a great idea for cleaning up the cut dash! Looks great! Did you get the heater control at the secret store???? :lol:

The lighter hole was buggered up by the PO as well, so will just cut a hole and install the lighter at a later date. as far as the heater control. it will be a old air product, or vintage air controller

Nice to find another truck nut like me in the same area.I used to have a 68 but had to get rid of it becouse of divorce but got a newer toy now.Anyways looks like a hella project man its looking great...

been scrounging nickels and dimes for the wiring harness etc. we have been doing little detail work. we also took the buddy bucket seat frame to bare metal, prepped it, primed it and painted it. I need to get a pic of the end result but here it is in primer......

Hey Heath...Can't remember what wiring system you're looking to buy but 67chevyredneck found someone on ebay selling new AAW wiring system for $150 less than they sell them.....I think he said they are $440 shipped....

I went with Ron Francis. I received the kit today, but i need to find grommets etc now...... and try to plan it out so it looks semi-good :lol:
