Thanks Monty. It's looking like St Louis is a go for next week. I'll make my final decision by Sunday. It's a long haul but a great track. And hey they were nice to me there. That's where I got the best appearing award in 2019.

We scaled the truck today. The way I set it in Houston ended up being almost neutral. It was 3lbs heavy on the drivers side. I usually set it 10 to 20 preloaded on the passenger side. I decided to leave it alone and play with shock adjustments instead. Hey it was predictable after the adjustment so I'm going with it.

Also I may or may not be in St Louis Thursday. I may be at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Adel Georgia. I have roll the dice due to weather conditions. I guess we'll see.

It's about 100 miles more to Ga. Not that big of a deal on that. I think I'll make my decision by Tuesday. I wish I was a Weatherman! They get paid whether they are right or wrong. Lol

The scales at Houston read 3575lbs. These chassis scales read 3556lbs. The old chassis scales I used read 3590. The scales in St louis last year read 3550. So I don't know Monty lol. We put less than ten feet of Moly tubing with the braces so it didn't gain but 10-15lbs.

I knew I didn't want to go to St Louis with the weather predictions. They postponed the race and made it a double race at the end of September. I thought that was great until I figured out I can't go because I have to be in Noble Ok for our Division 4 race.

Anyhow I'm loaded up and ready to go to Georgia Thursday. I rigged up something to help save my shocks today. Since I don't run my wheelie bars I made this up to keep movement to a minimum.

Well.... She doesn't look older than 26 so Happy B-Day to her. That track is about 1.5hrs north of my dads place.

I talk to my dad every Sun night @ 9pm(Tx)/10pm(Ga) time. He'll usually ask what the weather was like here the last few days so he has an idea of what's coming LoL.
We got poured on last night/over-night here in the Dallas area. Not a cloud in the sky @ 9am....

Thanks Greg. It got ugly last night at 10pm Eastern Time. I had a Tornado Alert go off on my phone. Jamie and i got dressed and rode up to the brick bathrooms (done that before). We were up there with a few people and waited it out for awhile. One guy said (did you hear an Airplane?). I told him you probably heard a Tornado. I had some tough competition second round this morning. I had him on the tree and we were both a little hot. We were back and forth at he stripe and I thought I took it. I ended up giving it back by .002. Damn

Blue always knew he had a brother out there somewhere. After an exhausting search that has lasted for years I made arrangements to unite them. I went to Lindsay, Oklahoma May 1st to pick him up.

It's a 69 350 4 speed with a 2 speed rear. It cranks and runs but has a knock in it. The 2 speed works smoother than any one I ever driven. It has 24,000 on the odometer. There is no way it's 124,000. It has one small dent in the back of the drivers step and a golf ball size ding on the right corner of the hood. The bad news is it must have went a long time with a leak under the cowl. It has kick panel, floor and firewall cancer. It's nothing that can't be fixed. It's fun to drive around on the property but has no brakes at all. I felt like I was 13 years old again when I sat in the seat. I used to pull this old cattle trailer with a GMC that was almost identical to this truck. The trailer is a yard ornament now.

I worked out a day off yesterday. I had things to do around the house and I need to get ready for next weeks race at the Tx Motorplex. I took the time to get the wood sides off the White Truck. Then I cleaned the windows. I finally got the Blue Truck out of trailer. It was time for a photoshoot.
