Having restored a 65 in the past, just be sure you look it over well! Lots of places for rust to hide!

So after training I got home and cleaned off my back porch/workshop as much as possible to get it ready for to have work done... So my fenders are back in the house, my hood is sitting against the fence, and a bunch of other stuff leaning against the house. lol

I then started working on my cluster re-wire. I used a 12v source and one by one tested each wire to make sure it got connection on the circuit board and didnt cross any other wires... It turned out I did a good job and only one set of wires managed to get crossed. I managed to use a screw driver to get them separated and then added a crap ton more hot glue to hold them snug on the cluster and circuit board. Just didnt want them to be easily pulled loose or free. I may or may not have been doing another lighting MOD as well LOL

So the other end of the harness is now ready to be wired into the truck itself. I actually have an idea that will allow me to not cut the stock harness off but we will see. It may not work as I plan
