Put rear wheel cylinders on the 66. Set the distributor in the 62 and tried on the valve covers my wife bought me for Father's Day. Hope to get the 62 started this weekend.

I really like the color you choose for that 6 cylinder! Wiring is coming along too, you'll have that truck on the road before you know it. |

Spent time with the family, smoked a chicken, made a patch for my bed, had a few beers, had some wild turkey 101, enjoyed life!

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III
A busy weekend.
Today It was off to Hamstreet with Nicola and Martin on the bikes to a bike show and auto jumble. Followed by a run up the M20 to Wateringbury near Maidstone for another car and bike show, which was more of an excuse for a huge party and tons of Harley's together together. Home by about 4pm and swopped bike and truck about. Martins Eddie Lawson Replica 1100cc Kawasaki behind Nicola who was being a clown all day, when we were filling up this morning. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...pskw49f2m3.jpg Nicola snapped this pic of me headed to the Swapmeet...... She said I looked like a man on a mission. Wearing Clem's party shirt from last year. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...psvbkxc7jv.jpg My bargain of the day........ Been looking for something heavy duty like these for some time, found them on a traders stand at the bike swap meet. Managed to get a deal on 10 of them, 4 for my truck and 6 for Martins long bed to tie his V-Rod down once the truck is completed. Paid £3.20 each in stead of £4.00 each. Once countersunk and bolted down with countersunk head bolts in the rear bed, it will make the truck even more useful. http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...psxdvrvi8g.jpg Little by little the bits are coming together. |

I gave my truck a black eye! (Installed my grille and lights today, I found that somehow I only sandblasted one of the headlight bezels and the other was still black - so I installed it this way just for the pic . . . .:lol::lol:).

Got the hood, grill support and both inner fenders back from the media blaster. Then proceeded to spray out the pieces with epoxy primer. Now I remember why I don't do painting. :)

Ordered the Altman Easy Latch kit and some new Door Hinge sets. :)
Cleaned up and arranged the sheet metal in the shop. Put together the parts that need media blasting. Getting ready to remove the cab from the frame to cut out the 3-speed cross-member and rear trans cross member, may have to get a welding guy in here with a torch though. |

Bought this stuff from someone parting out his project. He bought the parts in 2005.
CPP Aluminum tank CPP Master cylinder and booster CPP 5 lug rotors CPP Calipers Tubular upper and lower control arms (look like Western Chassis) Trailing arms that I have yet to identify (the guy thought it was all CPP but it's not) I'm not sure if I'm going to use the lower control arms because the spring bucket looks a little low. The Western website doesn't say anything about these being drop control arms so I'll have to look into it. Got a good package deal price so I couldn't say no. |
