Looks very nice from what little can be seen in the photos. For $32K, I would think they could pull it out of the garage and shoot some photos so you can see the whole truck.

There are a number of other photos of this one listed on the craig's site below. Surprised its not gone already. Is the price too high for what it is?

I personally think you'd have to be dead set on a real 2WD to pick something like that up. With the amount of cancer treatment needed to bring it back, it'd be much easier and cheaper to convert a 4x4. My personal opinion is changing the tub on this one would not be an option so you never get questioned on swapping the vin.

She's real rough! She needs allot of panels for sure. My part of the country C10 swb, blazer and Burbs are super rare. I've been looking down south and shipping one back to build.

Price way high unless the parts he was planning on using on it come with it. I bought one in simular shape for 400 and took what I needed off. Then still resold it for 300. You basically look yo need to replace or repair most of the body on that. Running and drivable I'd say yes to price. But there ain't a lot of meat left on the bone here.

Get a soft top. You'll use it more in florida than a hard top anyway.

I'd actually like to see a thread titled "How much these Blazers sold for", as apparently my Blazer isn't worth much near this much. Came to my senses and it's not for sale anymore, but still....

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

There worth as much as someone is Willing to Pay. I've had guys offer me five grand before and mines not in great shape. Some people just want them so bad that it Doesn't Matter the Price Or Work needed done. Our trucks are getting more expensive as they are gettin more scarce. Start a thread on this subject. People can start adding theirs to that too. Glad you didn't Sell. I sure You Are too. I don't ever see me getting Rid Of Mine. 15 years and hopefully God willing another 30 with my blazer.

I think they are getting more and more popular to have because they are getting rare. Even 4wd ones.

Is it too much to ask for a solid 2wd 350/350 with a good top and decent paint/interior for $12500? ;)

... depends, if I'm BUYIN' $12,500 is a LOT, if I'm SELLIN', $12,500's not nearly enough;)

I like my '72 a lot but I'd trade it for the right '60's GM convertible car.

I don't think that is out of line. I paid less for mine, but you saw my crappy interior at CTC. I almost have the difference in price wrapped up in my new interior that I still have to put in.

Add in the cost of suspension, brakes, engine & trans repairs, etc. (if they are all fresh rebuilds) and the cost just goes up from there. From April (when I bought mine) to October, I'm betting that I more than doubled the cost of my Blazer just getting it ready for CTC, and I'm still not finished with it. You know as well as I do, things get expensive QUICK!

Is it sacrilege to just remove the front suspension from a 4x4 and replace it with stock A-Arm type suspension? Are the people looking for 2wd Blazers and Jimmy's only looking for original 2wd's? Doesn't look like it would be that hard to do.

its not sacrilege, its just about numbers and rarity. i have a 'hybrid' blazer which is a 4x4 vin tub but on a factory 2wd frame.

consider that in 1972 they made 44,266 4x4's and only 3,357 4x2's, so converting a 4wd makes sense if you really want a 2wd. i personally would not pay a premium for a converted blazer but some might.

Actually a lot of people have done that. I had an extra 71 blazer that I sold after I took what I needed off of it and almost everyone that looked at it was going to convert it to two wheel drive. Back then I thought they were crazy, the only reason I bought mine was because it was a 4x4. But now that I know how few 2 wheel drives they made I can kinda understand why they would want to do that.

$11gs!! Haha that dude must have some good crack. Mismatched body/frame with a title which may or may not match the vin plate & it really needs work. I can get a mint/restored 2wd all original for $17gs lol
