No clips 1/2 ton wheels. Also wondering how difficult it is to find NOS chrome caps and what are they worth?

Re: Do you need '64-'66 Chevy Truck Parts?

Looking for a deluxe heater box (firewall side) OR... the parts to convert my standard heater box to deluxe. I am converting my heater to the deluxe version from standard. (or economy or whatever they called it)

I have all the other stuff needed.

Does the heater control cable control water flow or air flow? Have a pic of the deluxe box in my assembly manual but it does not break down the box itself.

I have a few parts left over from the conversion if you want to work up some trades too.

TIA!!

No, this thread is not dead...we are swamped with projects and parts, so I have been slacking with replies. I believe I spoke with you on the phone this evening regarding converting your Thrift-Air to Deluxe-Air...

The only 1/2 ton, non-clip style caps I have are painted and they are a little rough around the edges...literally. I usually have some of the factory chrome caps, but they don't stay around long and I am out of them, at the moment.

I see the factory and repop chrome caps on eBay, pretty frequently, so you might check there. They are also available for about $150.00-$200.00 for a set of four from:

www.lmctruck.com
www.classicparts.com
www.bowtiebits.com
www.truckandcarshop.com
www.oldchevytrucks.com
www.brothers.com

and many others.

Good luck and sorry I couldn't help you with this item, but please keep me in mind for your other '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck parts in the future.

Thanks for the inquiry. A good, used complete pair of fleetside taillight assemblies, including the buckets, bezels, lenses & mounting hardware and shipping, via USPS-Priority Mail, is $52.00.

Thanks for the opportunity and let me know if I can help.

I have both, but the speaker will need to be refit, because it is 45+ years old and the paper cone and speaker fish cloth is dry, brittle and deterioated. The factory speaker had soldered connections at the speaker with a factory connector at the head unit. Do you need this, as well?

Please let me know if this suits your needs and I will reply accordingly. Thanks for the opportunity.

Oh lordy...there is an APB out for those things, but I do have a set. They are tough to find for the 4x4, especially for the 292. If you still need them, let me know and I will try to work something out with you. Thanks for the opportunity and I look forward to hearing from you.

Thanks for the inquiry. Nice collection of photos illustrating what you need. I am familiar with that style, but I don't have any of the big iron stuff. I deal primarily in light-duty, ie 10-30 Series trucks. I do come across some heavy-duty truck parts, from time-to-time, but the mirrors are usually the full-size West Coast style mirrors.

Sorry I couldn't help, but thanks for the opportunity.

If you do come across a set let me know... I have checked most of the local trucks around here, but they are all the west coast style.

Indeed. I have a few nice sets. Thanks for the opportunity. Aside from some surface rust, they are rust-free & dent-free. A pair is $150.00, plus shipping. I can ship them, nested together in one box, via UPS-Ground for an additional $45.00.

Thanks for the opportunity and please let me know if I can help you with this item or other good, used '60-'66 Chevy/GMC truck parts in the future.

Happy Easter and enjoy the day.
