Many folks here already know this but it is interesting to note that this truck was originally green-- and to me ti appears it was Medium Olive Green. This is evidenced by the green stripe on the passenger side where the upper molding was once located. I love this truck BTW!

But it is also interesting to note that trucks painted with Silver Poly have a similar look. I know because I have one with its original paint nearly worn off.

I forgot to say I was responding to the post by swb4me who posted the 67K20 for sale in Boise.

georgieb, I'm assuming that's a bed swap - as mentioned above, upper molding previously, but also - medium olive wasn't available until 69.

Nice, clean, 1969 vintage accessory (of the larger size). At $1750 it looks like a deal.

Recently restored, sealed. No leaks. New bed foam. Clean title. Classic Vintage worth approximately $5000.
Needs a truck with wench to put on truck( we don't have). Or get creative and load on to trailer.

Selling very cheap. $1750.00 OBO. Just want this moved out of our driveway.

Damn I would buy that in a heartbeat for the 72 . But its on the wrong coast .think his dimensions are off most likely 13.5' long by 7.5' wide. But damn diesel is so cheap now I could go get it .

This a very attractive truck, but I don't think it will be selling at or near the asking price.

I got to thinking about that later, and now I know that I stand corrected. Bed swap for sure. But the silvering effect is still true from my experience. Have others seen this effect?

Absolutely, saw it on my 71 when I first bought it, but it buffed out nicely.

Wow! Nice unmolested one owner. I don't think I've ever seen an auxiliary fuel tank fill in that location before.

Yet another blue truck for sale. Nice 69 K10 $18500. It's too bad there are no pictures of the underside. If it was mine I would have posted some to show off my work.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/skc/c...102085491.html

Head turning C10. Lots of Modifications and upgrades. Runs and drives great. 4 wheel drive is excellent. It is a C10 Converted to 4 wheel drive. (K10)
The drive-train is from a 1991 Suburban V1500. The rear bumper extension is due to the 40 gallon Suburban Fuel tank behind it. It makes for an excellent step.
This truck is a hard working truck.
Here is a list of improvements:
91 4x4 Suburban Frame and drive train. (Truck frames up to that vintage were a standard width. All we had to do is line up the body and mount the 1969 cab and bed mounts (Bolt on) to where we liked them. This gave the truck it's towering stature. The motor that came with the Suburban was a replacement with lower miles from a wrecking yard. It came from a 94 Silverado. The engine was converted to 4bbl with a Jegs kit (Cam, lifter, Timing, intake, etc.) It also received a new Edelbrock 1406 carb, and a performance HEI distributor.
Transmission is a stock TV cable control 700R4. Has newer aluminum pan and new filter.
The gear ratio was upgraded to 4.56 with Yukon gears. A Detroit Trutrac was installed at the same time to the rear differential. (Gear wizard was used to pick ratio. It offsets the larger tires and puts the 700R4 into the stock shift point zone). Electric fuel pump with regulator.
The exhaust is a 3" Magnaflow single set up. It has a high flow, Flowmaster catalytic converter. (People at the drive thru window really appreciate this feature)
New TMI Seats with center console. (LMC Truck)
New carpet, new sill plates (LMC Truck)
New washer pump and intermittent wiper kit (LMC Truck)
New Retro sound Stereo with Aux input, new speaker (LMC Truck)
New cowl screen (LMC Truck)
New heater core (Orielly)
Tach
New bumper guards (LMC Truck)
New locking hood latch (LMC Truck)
LT315/75R15 Cooper Discoverer AT3 tires with low miles (Plus matching spare)
Brand new rear leaf springs (Stock Suburban rate and size) Also has Superlift 2.5" spring lift front, rear blocks, to clear wheel offset.

serious inquiry only. No trades, thanks.
