Not sure if this meets the vintage picture thread requirements but here are some still frames taken of a nice 68 shortbed from an MSHA (Mine Safety and Health Administration) video on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xfSZVyL_ZyY&t=557s at 1:34. I guess they needed a truck to demonstrate the dangers of working around haul trucks, too bad it was a C10. Looks like the tailgate might still be use-able.

Inflation Fighter package was a special option grouping on a the custom trim level at a special lowered price. The word "Inflation" had become a catch phrase at this time. It's the time when Coke and candy bars stopped being $.10 like they had been forever and penny candy started costing $.2
Staying within the 67-72 topic... Nice! |

The previous owner of my blazer sent me this not to long ago. He said it was around 84. I thought it was cool to see it back in the day.

I came across this doing work research this week. That's a "Bechtel" logo on the door. Taken around 1970-71.

While every vintage picture in this thread is a pleasure to view, it is a '67-72 GM Truck vintage picture thread". If this gets people pulling up other great old vehicle pictures that's fantastic. That's how it works on me. Someone should start the same kind of thread in General Discussion so we can all share the "other" pictures |

This was likely taken by the first owner as he showed it off to his brother-in-law & wife (pictured).
