After getting the parts home I decided to install them and see how they looked. Also they are safer on the truck than laying around the garage. Please excuse the blue carpet and my moving blanket seat cover. Next up is getting the inner fenders and radiator support painted black.

Yes. Nothing quite like spending time working on the truck. Especially with the help of my thirteen year old son. Good times.

Looks excellent! I can't wait until I can be at the painting stage. Wish all you talented painters were closer so I could just bribe you into doing my project :).

A small update. The inner fenders are ready for primer which should be done tonight. And then painting them, the radiator support, and hood hinges should not be far behind. Next on the list will be the stamping issues that come with buying aftermarket repop fenders. a couple welds and some seam sealer and we should be good.

I had a little free time to check on the progress of the the inner fenders last week and I was able to see the last coat of paint being applied. The picture were taken before the paint had time to dry. We went with a semi-gloss finish.

A little more progress today. Since my core support was already off of the truck I mounted the condenser and dryer. Also got the measurements layed out to cut the 1 1/4 inch hole in the support for the hard lines to run through.

Here is a couple pictures of the condenser, dryer, and core support back on the truck. Everything fit like it should. Vintage Air makes a great product.

It's been a while since I have had any truck time so progress has been slow. I did manage pick up a Corvette style fuel filter with an internal regulator and three Russell -6 AN fitting. The rest of the fittings should come in on Friday.
