I've got a buddy that was messing around with his new camera, that last one was taken real low. Rims were 15x14 but surprisingly didn't stick out too bad.

some bad *ss thrucks on this thread :metal: even tho it is a darn shame to see so much sweet GM sheet metal cut up and beat up, its awesome to them in action bein used & abused as they were meant to be. and the super clean show trucks are just sic :bling2: ive had my "re-werk in progress" C10 for almost 1yr but a few years ago i had my 1st full size truck--this 78 K10 sb with a 350/350/203 & 4" lift. Never got to do any 'wheelin' with it other than blast it thru some deep puddles when we had some flooding rite after i got it. wish i still had it but had to sell it to pay some bills.

That wouldnt be a K10 Buddy, more like a C10 because they didn't change until 1980 trust me. I know I own a 1973 3/4 ton & 1980 Big 10.

For the record, the letter "C" in front of any chassis designation (10,20,30) means 2-wheel drive. The letter "K" designates 4-wheel drive. This designation goes back to the 60's and continues on today wit the exception being the 87-91 "R & V" body designations!

thanks mudman
it's mean on my wallet.'85 K30, FI 454, T400, 205, D60 w/tru-trac, 14b w/detroit, 4:56's
front springs are 8" skyjackers, rear is flips, blocks, airbags, 4500lb springs, & b.wacker cut-outs.
on the street or haulin' the camper i run 38x15/16 toyo's, going off road or exploring i run a set of 39" swampers. and if i wanna get real retro, got a real old set of 42" TSL's on steelies off my blaze. only prob , cant go over 35 mph with them, shakes the s**t out of the truck

Re: 73-87 4x4s

Dieseldawg your truck is very simular to mine, just 2 more doors, the old bias sure do shake, had many sets and finally made it to radials on my truck, almost rides like a 3/4 ton instead of a 1 ton:lol:

Technically not a 4x4 since I haven't gotten the new gears installed in the front Dana 60 yet but this is my 77 Silverado now on 7/8" of lift and one tons.

Here is mine... I have made some changes to her one piece at a time since I got it in February....

First pic is how it looked when I bought it... Last is how she sits now.. You can't see it in the original pic but it had a poorly fitted black rear bumper at the time.

Couple more of how it sits now... I know many hate a visor, but I have liked them since I was a kid and finally got one!! :D

BTW, can anyone suggest good step loops that mount to the frame rather than the rockers?? I would like to add simple, functional steps.. Not full nerfs. I do not want to mount to the rockers for a couple of reasons..
