I wanted to but we bought the '57 GMC instead as my fiancee doesn't love the blazers like me. There was also a restored pink 2wd original for $12gs in WA almost for the entire year. No idea why neither 2wd K5 sold asap. The green original mint one I think may have finally sold or they took it off CL. It was gorgeous & I'm sure some eastern guys would've paid big bucks for it too. I'll see if I can find it and post it.

How about $1000 tomorrow Ivan? Haha just forget the second "1". I found a 2wd I may be able to get $1-2000 running, possibly driving. Gonna check on it if it's still available.

Nice to know I am not the only "Hybrid" out there :metal:

It took me years to find an unmolested 2wd Chassis,
then of course I did a complete makeover on her.

She even had the factory gov locker in the rear :smoke:

Originally built by a board member, he sold it and then another board member just bought it. Sure wish I had and extra $30K laying around.

I drove that blazer when it was in San Diego for sale, it was nice then and there has been some work done to it since. Aside from just buying it, I find it weird that he has it for sale for $5k more than than he probably bought it for. It is a nice blazer though.

Some of those rigs have pretty decent price tags for 2wd blazers but some of the mods are pretty questionable in my opinion

Bouncy, A lot of this was done by ATP another board member. He did 1 heck of a job. I know that He really hated to see it leave His driveway in Florida headed to Michigan. Adam, I never did get a chance to say thank you but I am now. Job well done.

I really need to unsubscribe to this thread. Some great trucks, for some pretty good prices. Wish I would have find this site/thread before I bought mine. It just shows I did pay too much. Oh well, it's mine now. Hope to have it on the road this year.

I need to unsubscribe also... some of these Blazers are very nice and for less than I already have in my '71 swb pick up. :(

BUCK, I gave him the price and He is sending a down payment shortly. We will see if it arrives but I think this guy is for real. I sent him over 200 pictures and talked to him on the fone 3 times. If it sells that's fine and i will miss it if it doesn't that's fine also. I have a chance to buy one of my friends cars.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

Dailric, you Blazer was being used in a scam on a different board. Guy had it listed for 12,500. My buddy emailed him and his story didn't add up. He sent me the pics and I said there is no way that Blazer is 12,500. The listing site was investigating the poster.
My buddy and I ended up going to L.A. from Northern Ca and he bought the blue one without a top. Body, new 383 strocker motor and new turbo 400 tranny good. Interior was a joke from a Denali and the wirings a mess. Good starter tho-no rust.
One from Sac sold that night.

Re: 2wd Blazer and Jimmy's find thread

wtrskinut, thanks for the info. This has happened to me many times before. Just cant believe the scammers out there. That's why we all need to be careful. Your buddy bought a nice blazer that was close to home. Ol Bouncy sure can find them for sale cant He? thanks and good luck.
