Hey Mike, go to gmpartsdirect.com and put in Part #19212593. They sell it complete with gasket, tube and indicator, pickup tube, & crankshaft oil deflector for $129.89. Maybe check with Summit for this set-up and see if they will sponsor you...Jim

Whahhh?!?! I thought the F-Body pans were like $300+... Is this the same pan?

Ahh, nevermind. That's the Muscle Car pan, still about 2 inches taller than the F-Body pan I believe. Still shorter than the truck pan...

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

this pan is only 2 inches shorter then the stock truck pan, I need one about 4 inches shorter

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

Mike, sorry I thought that would work. I've read alot in the engine section on LSswap. I'll check and see if they have a shorter pan, I know guys have talked about it alot...Jim

I agree. Just lay pan until you've ground 3.5" off the pan, then plate it back. :metal::lol::lol::lol:

BTW - Hooker headers look great all snug to the block!

Re: Slosh Tubz new company project "Square Peg" frame laying 1987 GMC Jimmy

either that or dig a hole 4 inches deep before rolling the truck over it and drop it to the ground :uhmk:

Oooh oooh oooh. I know. 4" tall ground effect kit. We are so helpful aren't we, Mike?

Seriously though, how hard is it to build your own or customize existing one? It's probably not easy or everyone would do it, but since when do you go for easy? :)
