A little trip the the ER with an ulcer has been keeping me down recently. I'm felt good enough to roll it out and take some picks today before I cleaned the garage.

ER!!!! I can just hear the $$$$ goiung down the toilet. Put a little 1" cut between my thumb and pointer finger, thought about just sewing it up myself but it had a lot of meat hanging out.:lol: Anyways 4500 later I was wishing I sewed it up myself. Hopefully your smarter then me and have insurance.:uhmk: Truck looks like it likes the sun.;) When you going to weld up that hood seam?

Sounds like you need a couple butterfly bandaids! :lol:I have insurance but I'm self employed so it's more like a safety net. I have a $2500 deductible so that's what I'm out. That would have bought a really nice set of rims or bunch of other shtuff. I've been staring holes in that hood wondering what to do with it. I still don't know.

2500 plus 20% of a million.:sumo: When are we going to see that free heath care everyones talking about.:lol: I don't really want that anyways. Keep starin at the hood somthing will come to ya. I welded mine it was a pain in the a$$. I just used seam sealer on the bed seam. Some people weld that too.

I'm for anything that will make it cheaper, easier, cheaper, more choices, etc. Did I say cheaper?

Glad your getting better. ;)

I welded my seam in the bed and hood. Check out Ronnie's bed on 198plus build. He just went back into his bed to smooth the seam out after using seam sealer.

What!!!! Thats where I got the idea.:lol: Oh well I'm stuck with it because mines painted. I let you know when it cracks. Seemed like a lot of grinding anyways. I used JB weld on mine. It will never crack. haha

I just got caught up on this build...
You have some awesome ideas, some are just too far outside my ability range either cost wise or skill wise, but wow! Cannot wait to see this one finished, (along with all the others I am currently tracking).

You have a great build going on that all many others I am watching, just keeps getting better and better! Very inspirational!

Cool to see I am not the only one that thinks something different or better could be done with the front bumper. I gots plans for mine too !!

I am dialed in, keep it up man, you have built quite a following too ;)

Thanks. I'm definitely welding it up to avoid any future issues.

I didn't know you could paint over JB weld. Is it going to hold up?

Killer stance man. It looks so clean with no vent windows. Any plans for one piece side glass?

I do too. I've been going back and forth with gray/silver/black and what I think I'm doing is trying to reproduce the color of bare metal. It won't be painted for a while but right now I'm thinking steel silver metallic.

Absolutely correct. I'm not going to use vent windows. I contacted a company called Onepiecewindows.com a while back and they didn't have a kit for 63-66 yet but he said it was in the works. Whether they have it when I'm ready for it or I have to work it out myself, there's only going to be one window per side.
