Thanks a lot, appreciate it, have done a lot more mods the last month, made some time for myself instead of everyone else's projects. Nice to have a truck to use all year round. Snow is never to deep and was 4ft high this last winter. Crazy place to live some days.

Nice! The motor looks as clean as the rest of the truck. I bet that's fun four wheeling in the snow.

Re: 73-87 4x4s

Was just doing a bit more engine work, that's why no wires on it there, it kicks butt in the snow and mud, snow is a lot easier to clean though, had it right up to the top of the 40" tires in the snow and just cruisin easily, fun toy.

Man I've been looking for that gauge cluster bezel forever! Lol. Nobody makes the silver bezel with the pocket aftermarket and they're super hard to find let alone in good condition.

Nice rides 4x4K20, like the 6.0 litre install, super clean, looks like it was born that way.

We have a shining example like that one in our Fire station just down the street, wished I had it many times. Fire dept sure takes good care of their trucks.

I like that about the departments. Shows pride, discipline, and cleanliness

I bought this truck when I was 16 and sold it in 1993. I just bought it back yesterday. Pretty cool to get your first truck back!! Definitely not in the same condition, a frame off restoration will fix that!

4x4k30, I like your trucks. I have a 75 GMC with a similar aftermarket grill as your crew cab. May I ask what type/year, the emblem on the grill is? Also how is it attached. I looked through LMC, but would like to hear first hand. Thanks.

Re: 73-87 4x4s

Just purchased the Black CK Mirrors, & in need of a new grille for my 4x4. You wouldn't understand when I tell you that I am building a 73 - 89 K20 4x4. lol but when I am done it will be a sight for awesomeness. ( The grille looks to be one of the 85 - 86 Stock grilles, only panted with Gloss Black to highlight the GMC logo on the front. On the other hand I could be wrong. I am so used to dropping the 87 -89 Suburban or Crew Cab front Grills on my trucks that I end up mixing up my years and Model numbers. )
