All the little details are looking good together. Now you can scare the deer with your spotlight so you don't hit them.

I always say, "It don't matter what the truck looks like long as you have a perrty engine." lol Looks great man! And spot lights rock! I have been able to pick up 2 so far. One a GM and the other an S6 universal.

I have one as well. Desperately want it on my truck but in two minds about cutting a hole in my cab. Probably will fit it though. |

Well after contemplating about the motor mounts for a while an I decided after all to adapt the front mount to the new crossmember. So the first step was to take a bunch of measurements and then grind and drill out all the rivets to remove the perch from the crossmember, this was quite the chore but I finally got them all out. Next I will finish the last lower control arm so I can begin the crossmember swap.

While on my ten day fishing trip I picked up this wilwood 3/4" clutch master cylinder, this is the same one that captainfab uses for his kit

While passing through the middle of nowhere in northern B.C. I was able to track down and purchase a 60-62 v8 Bellhousing with the v8 horseshoe and other stuff for $75, this is just in case I ever decide to go with a v8 in the future, since these Bellhousings are hard to find and it was a good deal I couldn't pass it up. Oh and I have been searching while on the road but still haven't found a motor mount

I've been pretty busy and lacking in updates recently but this weekend I decided to take advantage of the picknpull half priced sale. I got a set of springs from a half ton to cut down one coil ( my donor 78 had 3/4 ton springs), and a 8" brake booster from a s10, this is because my bigger booster from the 78 wouldn't fit in the engine bay with the oilbath aircleaner.
