Getting a quote on an all black paint job? This will probably be my fist move. |
Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
the colour on youre avatar actually starting to grow on me , maybe you could do a gunmetal grey metallic instead of a straight black

The first dragtruck I ever saw that made me want a 67-72 chevy dragtruck was black and I have gotta go black. I may add graphics later.

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
I figured I would post this over here instead in the tire thread, but your truck is one of the ones I draw inspiration from(no homo). Your pass time run was awesome. There are alot of fast trucks on here and yours got me hooked to really make mine fast(er). That and wanting beat a friend's Malibu, bc he constantly talks $*&^ and i would love to beat him just once!! He is running 11.3 on 100-shot and he has a 150 pill he has yet to try out. His car is sweet as hell though 79 nice 454 w/tremec 5spd and 9". His car is a blast to drive!!

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
I got the truck back to a rolling state last night and I should get it to the Chassis Shop this weekend. I am gonna pick up my convertor this weekend and I hope to start putting the motor in Cades Truck if all goes well.

Where did you get that one? I was thinking of adding one of the splined ones from S&W

Re: Its Mine the World Famous 67 Dragtruck
seem a nice simple one a while back it was just a piece of roundbar in a piece of pipe that had mounting points for the frame
the roundbar has 2 flanges welded on the ends he just mounted another flange to that with bolts that had another piece of roundbar mounted on it sideways the downmount to the rearaxle could slide over that piece of roundbar before clamping it down wish gave you unlimited options for sensitivity its verry simple to put together needs verry little room between the chassis and the tire and most of the parts can be bought at a diy store or autostore |
